Faster checkout with
address autocomplete.
Customers pick their address from a dropdown instead of typing every field manually, powered by Google Maps for accurate, typo-free addresses.
Cleaner addresses, faster checkout.
Pick a real address instead of typing one. Result: fewer typos, fewer follow-ups, and an obvious 'nearest shop' for your customers.
One click, four fields filled
When a customer selects an address suggestion, the street, house number, city, and zip code fields are filled automatically. No more manual typing across multiple fields.
Cleaner customer data
Auto-filled addresses mean fewer typos, incomplete entries, and formatting inconsistencies. You get accurate address data from the start, reducing follow-up corrections.
Cost-efficient API usage
RepairPlugin limits autocomplete results to 5 suggestions per search and saves responses to avoid repeating the same address lookup. This keeps your Google Maps API costs under control.
Find the nearest location
With Enhanced Locations (Scale plan), customers can search by address and see which shop is closest. The Geocoding API calculates distances and can verify whether an address falls within your service area for pickup or on-location repair.
Three steps to autocomplete.
Bring your own Google Maps key, flip the toggle, ship it. The dropdown takes over from the next visitor.

Common questions.
Does this cost money?
Google Maps Platform charges per API call. RepairPlugin reduces costs by saving responses so the same address lookup isn't repeated, and limiting autocomplete to 5 suggestions per search.
Do I need two separate API keys?
Not necessarily. You can use the same API key for both autocomplete and Enhanced Locations, as long as both the Places API and Geocoding API are enabled. Separate keys help track costs separately.
Why isn't autocomplete showing suggestions?
Make sure your API key is valid, the Places API is enabled in your Google Cloud project, and the key isn't restricted in a way that blocks your website's domain.
What happens when I turn off autocomplete?
The API key field disappears and the key value is removed. Customers type their address manually in the regular form fields.
