RepairPlugin 2.0

Version 2.0 is the largest release we've ever shipped. 19 new features and 6 improvements in a single update. This post covers the four that will change your day-to-day the most. The rest are detailed in the full changelog.

Analytics Dashboard

This is the headline feature. Until now, you had bookings data, traffic data, and revenue data sitting in three different places. The Analytics Dashboard pulls them into a single view inside RepairPlugin, with no setup beyond enabling it.

You get:

  • Conversion rate per repair page
  • Top-performing brands and models by revenue
  • Trend lines over the last 90 days
  • A breakdown of where bookings drop off in the funnel

The dashboard is included on every plan that supports analytics. There's also a Weekly Analytics Email Report that lands in your inbox every Monday with the previous week's numbers. Skim it with your coffee.

Dynamic Opening Hours + Google Business Profile sync

Two features that work better together. The Opening Hours Display ships eight shortcodes for publishing your hours on the front-end, including a live "open now" or "closed, opens at..." indicator on your repair pages. Behind it, Opening Hours is where you actually configure the schedule and special dates.

The Google Business Profile integration means you set those hours once in RepairPlugin, and they sync automatically to your Google listing. No more updating two systems before a public holiday.

For multi-location shops, this is the feature that finally makes opening-hour management painless.

Google Address Autocomplete + Customer Address Autocomplete

Two related features powered by the same Google Maps integration and Address Autocomplete. The first applies to your shop's address fields in the admin. The second applies to the customer-facing checkout, where customers can now start typing their address and pick from Google Maps suggestions instead of typing it all manually.

Why this matters: address typos cost you time on every shipped device. The autocomplete cuts those errors close to zero, which means fewer "we couldn't deliver, the address was wrong" follow-ups.

Pricing Table Shortcode

A small feature with outsized SEO impact. The new [Repair_Pricing_Table] shortcode renders an indexable HTML pricing table for any model on any WordPress page. We have a full guide on shortcodes if you want the details, but the short version is: you can now build dedicated SEO pages per device with crawlable prices, in one line of code. See the Shortcodes feature page for the full reference.

What else is in 2.0

The remaining 14 new features and 6 improvements include:

  • Priority Repairs flag for time-sensitive jobs
  • Complete Appointments workflow for closing out finished jobs
  • Webp image upload for faster page loads
  • Google Tag Manager integration for proper tracking
  • Country Field on Checkout for shops shipping cross-border
  • Repairs visibility based on stock or connection (Growth and Scale plans)
  • Notification when Dynamic Pricing is not running (Growth and Scale plans)
  • Split Payments with IN3 (pilot release with selected shops)
  • Redirect Thank You page so you can send customers to your own confirmation page
  • Custom fonts in the front-end booking flow
  • Change the timezone in settings (Currency, Tax & Dates)
  • Webhook trigger per location (Scale plan)
  • Combi Discount notification for stacking offers
  • Improved coupon functionalities across the board
  • Length of booking slot reduced to 10 minutes (improvement)

What we recommend doing first

If you're upgrading to 2.0, three things in this order:

  1. Turn on Analytics Dashboard. Even if you don't read it daily, the weekly report alone is worth it.
  2. Connect Google Business Profile so opening hours sync automatically.
  3. Drop the Pricing Table Shortcode on your homepage or a dedicated prices page. You'll likely see a conversion bump within a week.
