Speed up checkout
with autocomplete.
Add address fields to your booking form and enable Google Maps autocomplete, so customers get accurate suggestions as they type and you collect verified addresses.
Cleaner addresses. Faster checkouts. Fewer failed pickups.
Customers misspell streets, skip postal codes, and forget house numbers. Autocomplete fixes all three at the source.
Collect complete addresses at checkout
Add house number, street name, city, postal code, and country fields to your booking form. These fields can be toggled on or off and repositioned within the checkout field editor.
Google Maps address suggestions
When you enter a Google Maps API key and enable autocomplete, customers see address suggestions as they type. Selecting a suggestion automatically fills in the street, city, postal code, and country, cutting down on typos and manual entry.
Limit service areas by distance
Turn on Verify Customer Location Distance for Pickup Service or Repair on Location methods. Enter a maximum radius in kilometers and customers outside that range will see a message that the service is not available at their location.
Free monthly API credits provided by Google Cloud
Google includes free monthly credits for Maps API usage, which is usually enough for small to medium repair shops. The address fields themselves work without an API key, autocomplete and distance verification are the features that require it.
Three steps. From plain inputs to verified addresses.
Turn fields on, paste a Google Maps API key, set a radius. That's the whole setup.
Enable address fields
Go to RepairPlugin > Settings > Checkout & Discount > Checkout Field Editor. Turn on 'Address Fields (Come By Our Store)' to add house number, street, city, postal code, and country to the booking form.
Add a Google Maps API key
Create a project in Google Cloud Console, enable the Maps JavaScript API and Places API, generate an API key, and paste it into RepairPlugin's settings. Turn on Autocomplete Address.
Optionally set a service radius
For pickup and on-location repairs, enable Verify Customer Location Distance and set a maximum radius. Customers outside that range are informed the service is not available at their location.
Included on every plan.
Address fields, autocomplete, and distance verification are available from Essentials onwards.

Common questions.
Do I need a Google Maps API key for the address fields to work?
No. The address fields work on their own, customers just type their address manually. The API key is only needed for autocomplete suggestions and distance verification.
Does address autocomplete cost money?
Google includes free monthly credits for Maps API usage, which is usually enough for small to medium repair shops. Check your Google Cloud Console for current pricing details.
Which APIs do I need to enable in Google Cloud Console?
You need the Maps JavaScript API and the Places API. For distance verification, these same APIs are used.
Can I limit which services are available based on customer distance?
Yes. Enable Verify Customer Location Distance for Pickup Service or Repair on Location methods and set a maximum radius in kilometers. Customers outside that range cannot select that service method.
