Reliable Email Delivery
With Built-In SMTP
Route all booking emails through your own SMTP mail server to avoid spam folders, with built-in test emails and a full delivery log for troubleshooting.
Skip the spam folder.
Default WordPress mail often gets flagged or blocked. Route emails through a real SMTP server and watch deliverability climb.
Professional SMTP configuration
Connect to Gmail, Outlook, Mailgun, SendGrid, or any provider. Pick None, SSL (port 465), or TLS (port 587). Authentication supported.
Branded sender details
Set a custom From Name and From Email so customers see your shop name instead of a generic WordPress address. Optional global override.
Built-in test email
Switch to the Email Test tab, enter a recipient, click Send. Success or failure appears immediately with the exact error message if it failed.
Complete delivery logs
Every outgoing RepairPlugin email is logged with recipient, subject, status, timestamp, and full headers. Failed emails show the error in red.
Three steps. Branded mail in minutes.
Configure your SMTP server
Go to Settings > Email Settings & Logs. Switch on Use Custom SMTP and enter your host, encryption type, port, and credentials.
Set your sender details
Enter From Name and From Email. Optionally toggle the global switches to apply these settings to all WordPress emails, not just RepairPlugin.
Test and monitor
Switch to the Email Test tab and send a test. Then use the Email Logs tab to monitor delivery status and troubleshoot failed emails.
Included on every plan.
This is a core feature, available from Essentials onwards with no upgrade needed.

Common questions.
Do I need to configure SMTP?
It depends on your hosting. Many hosts restrict the default WordPress mail function, which causes emails to end up in spam or never arrive. If your customers aren't receiving emails, configuring SMTP is usually the fix.
Can I use Gmail, Outlook, or a transactional email service?
Yes. Any SMTP server works: Gmail (smtp.gmail.com), Outlook (smtp.office365.com), Mailgun, SendGrid, or your hosting provider's mail server. Just enter the correct host, port, encryption, and credentials.
Does this affect emails from other WordPress plugins?
Only if you turn on 'Use these SMTP settings globally' and 'Use these sender details globally'. When these switches are off, only RepairPlugin emails use these settings.
What shows up in the email logs?
Every outgoing RepairPlugin email is logged with recipient, subject, status, timestamp, and detailed headers. Failed emails include the error message. Only RepairPlugin emails appear here, not emails from other plugins or WordPress itself.
