Tailor emails to
each payment method.
Show different email content depending on how customers paid, with conditional tags for online payments, Pay after repair, and individual gateways like Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, and iDEAL.
One template. Six conditional flavours.
Wrap content in conditional tags to send the right message based on how the customer paid, online versus offline, and per individual gateway when needed.
Online vs. offline in one template
Wrap content in [online_payment]...[/online_payment] or [pay_after_repair]...[/pay_after_repair] tags to show different instructions depending on whether the customer paid online or chose to pay later at pickup.
Gateway-specific messaging
Use individual tags for [stripe_payment], [paypal_payment], [mollie_payment], and [ideal_in3_payment] to display content only when a specific payment provider was used. This lets you include provider-specific instructions or receipts in your confirmation emails.
Insert tags from the editor menu
Payment-specific content tags are available in the Dynamic Order Information menu of the email editor. Pick a tag from the menu to insert the opening and closing tags, no need to remember or type the syntax manually.
Works in every notification type
Combine payment-specific tags with existing dynamic variables like $CustomerName$, $OrderSummary$, and $PaymentMethod$ in any email template. Tags work alongside other conditional sections like [admin_only] and [multiple_repair_items_only].
Three steps from template to triggered.
Open any notification template, insert the payment-specific tag, and the right block is included automatically when the email is sent.
Open an email template
Go to RepairPlugin > Settings > Notifications & Quotes, expand any notification type (e.g., Booking Approved), and open the email message editor.
Insert a payment-specific tag
Open the Dynamic Order Information menu and pick the payment group you want (e.g., online_payment or pay_after_repair). The opening and closing tags are inserted automatically, type your conditional content between them.
Save and send
Click Save Settings. When an email is triggered, only the content matching the customer's chosen payment method is included, all other payment-specific blocks are hidden.
Included on every plan.
Payment-specific email tags are part of the core notifications toolkit and are available from Essentials onwards.

Common questions.
What happens if a customer uses Stripe, does both the [stripe_payment] and [online_payment] content show?
Yes. The [online_payment] tag matches all online payment methods (Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, iDEAL in3), while [stripe_payment] matches only Stripe. Both sections appear when applicable.
Can I combine payment tags with other conditional sections?
Yes. Payment-specific tags work alongside [admin_only] and [multiple_repair_items_only] tags, as well as dynamic variables like $CustomerName$ and $OrderSummary$.
Do I need to add these tags to every notification type?
No. Only add them to the notification templates where you want payment-specific messaging. Templates without these tags continue to work normally and show the same content regardless of payment method.
Are payment-specific tags available in the email subject line?
Dynamic variables like $PaymentMethod$ and $PaymentStatus$ work in subject lines. The conditional content tags ([online_payment], [pay_after_repair], etc.) are designed for use in the email message body.
